Donna Eckwortzel - Founder & Executive Director
Donna is just as spunky as her horses. Even though her background is business and contract development in the high tech industry, it is her healing experiences she had with horses as a teenager, something tucked in her heart long ago, that drove her to start Hearts Landing Ranch.

Nicole Marie Walter - Director of Equine Services
Nicole became HLRs first employee in 2021. Nicole's education is in Equine Science Management. She has had "hands-on" experience in training and care of horses at multiple well established farms. Nicole is also EAGALA Certified as an Equine Specialist.
Nicole strives to teach the knowledge she has gained through her experiences with horses to the volunteers at HLR to further create an environment of connection and healing for anyone who comes to the ranch.

Analie Pywtorak - Marriage and Family Therapist
Analie is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. She came to Hearts Landing Ranch with clinical experience and training in treating anxiety, complex trauma, religious abuse, and working with children.
In Fall 2023, Analie will graduate with her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at William Jessup University. She also has a B.A. in Communications from the Master’s University. It was while she was using her communications skills at a nonprofit radio station that she realized she enjoyed hearing people’s stories and providing a safe place for people in crisis.
In her free time, Analie loves physical challenges like hot Pilates, running, and hiking. She is an avid reader, fan of matcha lattes, and can be found soaking in the pool on sunny days.
“I love working with the team at Hearts Landing Ranch! My passion is to give back and help survivors of abuse, trafficking, broken families, and more to find the hope and full life that is possible through healing. With our rescued horses, I seek to hold space for each person who sets boots on our ranch to learn new tools, develop healthier relationships, and begin to dream again.”
