At Hearts Landing Ranch, we are honored to support the brave men and women who have served our country. Our Veteran Program provides a unique and effective path to healing through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) with rescued horses.
We are proud to be the only EAGALA Military-Certified Equine Therapy Facility in Northern California, offering specialized trauma-informed care designed specifically for veterans.

Who We Serve
Our Veteran Services are designed for:
• Combat Veterans
• Veterans experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Veterans affected by Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
• Veterans transitioning back to civilian life
• Veterans dealing with anxiety, depression, or emotional stress
• Active duty service members and reservists when appropriate

A Specialized Therapy Team
Each session includes:
• A licensed mental health professional
• A certified equine specialist
• One or more rescued therapy horses

Accessibility & Scholarships
We believe that every veteran deserves access to healing. Thanks to the generosity of donors and community partners:
• Most clients receive full or partial scholarships
• We partner with Vet Centers, VA programs, and veteran organizations
• Programs may include structured multi-week sessions
